The adapters were the answer I was looking for in trying to get these stands in working order. They've done the job.
The hanger set works and it works well but it is a bit convoluted. I feel this could have been a 1 piece design with a more modular approach. Other than that it works. Without a locking washer on the post mount carriage bolt the gong will walk clockwise/counterclockwise as you shoot.
The order was filled and shipped quickly and received within days. Thank you very much.
I bought a two pack of these earlier to convert a pair of my steel gong targets to be used for steel challenge practice. So wanted to get rid of the chain hanging setup I had and use a 2x4 mounted system. These are great because they accommodate multiple size targets and easy to setup and leave ready to throw in the car for range day.
Great item for mounting multi targets that are different in size. Can mount from 4 in width to 12 in. Very easy to adjust. Simplifies mounting of targets.
Good so far. Holding a 3/4 ipsc looks good.

I love these things! I run a public rifle range in CT and am always seeking a better way to hang steel targets. Most of my targets have 2 holes, which often results in the hangers being exposed to errant rounds. With these, the hanger ends up being shielded by the target itself. When I first got them, I thought the metal was too thin and they would snap from the impact of rifle rounds striking the target. I couldn't be more wrong. My targets have been struck hundreds of time each with a variety of centerfire rifle rounds (up to and including .300 Win Mag). Not a crack or bend is evident. I will definitely buy more.
