It keeps the racoons from getting to my feeder, but I can still access it. GREAT!!
We use it to keep the starlings and blue Jay's out of it
Fits well. The clips to hold the gate shut are tight and hard to use.

It will work. I cant mount it straight to the bottom because the lip of my drum wont allow the gate to open.

I ordered this to protect my hanging bird feeders and keep out squirrels. I added small-spaced, metal chicken wire to the top to make it a complete square, and it's working beyond expectations. Goldfinches and sparrows can get in and squirrels cannot, nor can they chew through the cage! Thank you for a great product.
You can put a square cage on a round bottom container. And it works great!
Love the guard keeps the squirrels away
